Why Donate

We accept personal equipment only such as clubs, bats and gloves. When you donate your equipment you not only help organizations serving young people, you also get a tax deduction. Instead of trading in your golf clubs, why not use that equipment to help a youth program grow the game.

Golf is an equipment intensive sport that requires clubs kids are able to use. Using old adult clubs cut down to fit them makes it harder for them to learn properly and it just becomes frustrating to learn. Having clubs that fit them is just as important as it is for adults. When kids you know outgrow their equipment, please consider a donation to give another kid a chance to play. We need clubs of all sizes.

Football, Baseball and Softball equipment is needed in urban programs and in schools.  There are schools and programs facing state and local funding cuts or hit by natural disasters such as tornados. Help us restore their ability to play by sending equipment they need.

We accept new or used equipment for the following sports:

  • Golf clubs (all sizes, RH and LH)
  • Golf carry/stand bags (please no cart or pro bags, kids really can’t carry those!)

  • Tennis rackets

  • Footballs
  • Shoulder Pads and other protective gear
  • Football Helmets

  • Baseballs and Softballs
  • Catcher’s and umpire protective gear
  • Baseball gloves, fielders, catcher’s mitts
  • Baseball and softball bats
  • Bases

We do not accept articles of clothing, personal items such as shoes or large items such as backstops or goalposts. If you have items such as these, we will help you find a local organization in your area in need to avoid unnecessary shipping and handling costs in relocating such large items.

Financial Support

We can use cash donations for items such as team jerseys and shoes for school programs.

We also will gladly accept your tax-deductible donation to help support our expenses to refurbish equipment and defray shipping costs through PayPal.  Just click the donation button on our website, sign into your PayPal account.  It is that easy.

If you prefer to send a check, please go to the the contact page for our address.  Checks can be made payable to Grow The Game.

We are a registered charitable 501(c)(3) organization and your contribution is tax deductible as a charitable donation.

How You Can Help Your Local Organizations

Please consider holding a fundraiser in your community and we will help support your local area organizations or teams.  We can work with local businesses to get the equipment to into the hands of kids who need it most.  If you are interested in working with us to Grow The Game, please contact us.
